Claret Press

51 Iveley Road, Clapham Old Town, London SW4 0EN

We are a micro publisher of stories about politics, issues and places.

Gripping narratives with visceral characters allow us to see the world anew, while navigating global currents and local waters. Plus, stories are the single best way to promote dialogue. Informed, provocative and thoughtful, Claret Press wants to be part of the conversation about the issues facing us. And if there is no conversation, then we’ll start one.

We want to reverse the trend of timid, careful publishing shaped by corporate needs, and instead be a platform outside the framework of traditional publishing. We create novels, memoirs, travelogues and other non-fiction books that don’t shy away from the big questions, but aren’t defined by them either. Most importantly, our books are just great page-turning reads.

Go to our website for links to buy all of our books in paperback, ebook and some in audio.

We also host regular zoom talks hosting local experts delving into the issues discussing in our books. Subscribe to our website for more details and updates.
