CLAPHAM LEAF CLUB

Clapham Leaf Club is a project designed to enable pupils of the Clapham and Larkhall Collaborative primary schools (Allen Edwards, Clapham Manor, Heathbrook, Larkhall Primary, Macaulay CE) to learn all aspects of growing their own food from preparing the soil using organic matter, to sowing seeds and culturing their crops which will be harvested and sold as fruit and vegetables or used in a cuisine and cooked and sold at the Market every year in July.

This year’s Finale takes place on Saturday 8th July – make it a date! 

We’re expecting all schools to attend and each year there’s an array of fantastic fresh produce to buy such as fruit and veg, hanging flower baskets, bouquet garnis, tomato plants, eggs and art. Some schools also make recipes from their harvest – favourites include Beetroot Brownies and Pea Pesto with fresh pasta!
