This August, new club night The World Service launches at Cafe Cairo, bringing you an eclectic blend of disco, house and curiosities from around the globe.

The quirky North African-themed SW9 venue “which looks a bit like the kind of place you might find if Bladerunner had been set in Cairo” (Brixton Buzz) offers a great drinks menu, organic pizza, buzzing upstairs bar and intimate basement dancefloor.

World Service DJs Tom Drew and Barney Simons have played everywhere from Pop Brixton and the Prince of Wales to Kensington Roof Gardens, London’s Southbank and Corsica Studios, supporting the likes of Derrick Carter, Todd Terje, Dimitri From Paris, Norman Jay, Tom Middleton, Robert Owens, Greg Wilson, Hot Chip, Maxi Jazz, and Gilles Peterson.
