Two Brewers Best Bar None

Tuesday 22nd March saw This is Clapham BID host the first Best Bar None awards at Infernos Nightclub. It brought together Clapham’s hospitality businesses, Lambeth Council, Lambeth Police and local volunteers to celebrate all the hard work that goes into making Clapham a safe place to enjoy an evening out.

Best Bar None is a Home Office approved national award scheme aimed at promoting responsible management and operations of alcohol licenced premises.

However, this night wasn’t just to reward businesses it was also to recognise the hard work and dedication of the special constables, street wardens and local volunteers who all contribute to ensuring Clapham is safe place to visit.

The overall winner of the Best Bar None award, who scored the highest mark against the 78 point scoring criteria was The Two Brewers. Over the last 12 months they have worked hard to raise standards and become the best run venue in Clapham. Other venues who achieved a distinction included Infernos, Dirty Martini and Revolution.
