The artist says – “3 walls entitled “The three graces,” which explores the burden of 3 different animal species have taken on for humanity.” The artist says –

“I will Feed You – I of course knew that I wanted to do a cow to start things out. Those who know me have no doubt heard how I think they are a near perfect vehicle to impart and communicate a broader sense of gratitude for the natural world. They are creatures moulded from the wild to suit the needs of humanity. They give everything without choice or repayment, and they should rightly be respected and revered.”

“I Will Protect you. I’ve strayed away (no pun intended) from painting dogs in the past. But I couldn’t create a triptych of animal dedication without them. They, like cows, we’re chosen from the woods and moulded into a protector, into a hunter and companion. They have given much, but are one of the few animals that receive better treatment societally than most, “food” animals. Still, reverence and honour and due.”

“I will clothe you” my third and final painting of my triptych for The London Mural Festival. Sheep were domesticated about 13,000 years ago and their wool is STILL the most widely used animal fiber to this day. They keep you warm, sheltered, and alive. Reverence and honour are due.”
