It’s that time of year again! Don your woolly hats and kickstart your festive season with the annual Clapham Christmas lights switch on.

Join us on The Polygon this December to watch our udderly magical flying cow switch on Clapham Old Town Christmas tree lights, with the help of a yet-to-be-announced special guest.

Featuring a winter market full of artisanal seasonal treats from local establishments, warming mulled wine, carol singing, Christmas jazz, exciting rides and decoration making workshops to get you in the festive spirit. There’s something for the whole family to enjoy!

Pop into Omnibus Theatre between 3-5.30pm, where little ones will have the chance to make their very own decorations with a local artist. This experience is completely free and will be followed by a glowing procession over to the tree to begin the event!

Get your festive season off to a flying start right in the heart of Clapham’s buzzing Old Town.

2:30pm – Food and craft stalls open and fairground rides swing into action
3:00pm – Free Christmas tree decoration making workshop at Omnibus Theatre (opposite The Polygon)
5pm – Procession to the tree begins to hang the handmade decorations
5:30pm – Welcome from special guests and seasonal live music kicks off
6pm – The big countdown to Clapham Old Town Christmas Tree Lights switch on with this years’ special guest in our long held tradition… the flying cow. Sure to amoose the whole family!
