Star of stage and screen Greta Scacchi makes her debut at Omnibus in the multi-arts venue’s seventh In Conversation With. These series of intimate evenings are spent getting up close and personal with some of the country’s most intriguing and respected actors, and Scacchi’s turn in the hot seat promises to be no exception.

Novelist and critic Peter Guttridge has the honour of interviewing Scacchi, delving into the actors career and looking back at some of her highlights.

Scacchi first found fame in Merchant Ivory’s Heat and Dust and went on to critical acclaim in White Mischief and Robert Altman’s Oscar-nominated The Player.

More recently, Scacchi has appeared on our screens in the BBC’s sumptuous adaptation of War & Peace playing Countess Rostova. She is also due to return to the stage and is currently in rehearsals for the West End.
