Clapham Common

An immersive drum and bass all-dayer

RTRN II DANCE is a brand new one-day festival coming to London’s Clapham Common on August Bank Holiday Sunday 2021. Presented by Louder and Festival Republic, it aims to be the largest drum and bass event in the capital this summer.

Topping RTRN II DANCE’s line-up are some of the most respected selectors in the scene. Electronic music fans can look forward to a set from Chase & Status, the duo comprised of Saul Milton and Will Kennard, who will be assisted by MC Rage. Since their huge chart success with 2005’s Love’s Theme, Chase & Status have scored a slew of hit songs including End Credits, Blind Faith, Lost & Not Found and Count On Me. Their latest album is 2019’s RTRN II JUNGLE.

Pioneering DJ and producer Andy C will also be making an appearance at RTRN II DANCE. Since the genre emerged in the early ’90s, he’s been regularly named among the world’s greatest drum and bass DJs. In 2018, he also became the first drum and base artist to sell out Wembley Stadium.

Plus acclaimed DJ, songwriter and producer Nicolaas Douwma, better known as Sub Focus, will be part of the party. Famous for his dancefloor dismantling drum and bass, he recently worked with fellow UK artist Wilkinson – who will follow him at RTRN II DANCE as part of a B2B set – on the 2020 collaborative album Portals, which peaked at No.1 on the UK dance albums chart and spawned the hit Air I Breathe.

Rounding out the first wave of artists are Holy Goof, Dimension, SASASAS, High Contrast, Dimension, Netsky, Macky Gee and many more.
