New look Mc Donald’s opens

The new look Mc Donald’s opened yesterday after a substantial investment which has seen it completely transformed creating a new and exciting experience for customers when visiting the restaurant. The changes and innovations are throughout the restaurant, from creating a whole seating area upstairs to providing more choice for customers in the way they browse the menu, order and pay, however there are still four tills for traditionalists who want to order at the counter.
One of the biggest changes is adapting the kitchen so that food now being cooked to order instead of sitting in a holding area and now every burger and wrap is freshly prepared and made to order.
The changes also include a striking redesign of the interior which provides a contemporary and relaxed setting to enjoy a coffee or a meal and has gone fully high-tech with new touch-screen ordering, a digital big screen menu and the free use of iPads on tables with internet access and children’s games.
Kalpesh Patel Franchise & Director for Mc Donald’s Clapham commented:
“The changes in the restaurant will also have a positive effect on the local people I employ at this restaurant as we have experienced in other restaurants. Providing local jobs and opportunities for my team is top priority for me as a local employer. All my staff have access to a range of nationally recognised qualifications through our industry leading training and development programmes.”
