The Clapham Crime Briefing takes place on the second Thursday of the month at 3pm. members of the This is Clapham BID are invited to attend. The briefing covers daytime and night time crime and is relevant to all businesses in Clapham.

Safer Business Network create an intel package for teh meetings and businesses will be able view images of offenders Businesses are encouraged to use to Alert App to upload images of individuals suspected of committing crimes in Clapham.

This is Clapham are grateful for the continued support of the Metropolitan Police who attend the meetings and are able to speak directly to businesses.

Priorities remain as shoplifting in the daytime and phone thefts at night. This is Clapham helps coordinate the meeting and lobby the Police and other statutory agencies for resources.

We will keep information relating to member companies as long as the company remains within the area. If the company leaves the area we may keep some information that we hold as long as we consider necessary based on any laws applicable. Any information you provide to us is kept in our active file for 6 months – After 6 months it is moved to a dormant state – After 12 months it is deleted from our systems We use Active records for some or all of the activities detailed in the section above – ‘What do we use your information for?’ If we have recorded no positive activity from you after 6 months your record will become dormant If there is no positive activity from you within 12 months we will delete your records Positive activity means that you open, read, interact with either the website or through any of the communication methods we use to contact you. It is our responsibility to be able to demonstrate this positive activity and if we cannot then your details will become dormant and eventually be deleted.
