Loading Bay Closures
As part of the Mayor’s ‘Streetspace for London’ programme, TFL are working to quickly transform London’s streets to accommodate increases in cycling and walking, as lockdown restrictions are eased.
TFL will be reallocating loading and parking bay spaces to pedestrians along Clapham High Street. The three bays in question are located outside of:
- 21 Clapham High Street
- 59-79 Clapham High Street (Metro Bank)
- 157-161 Clapham High Street (Post Office)
These measures will help to enable social distancing by providing pedestrians with additional space whilst walking through the area. Work is expected to begin on Wednesday 24 June.
TFL will continue to monitor these changes to ensure they are working for all road users.
