Woman’s night safety charter

Sadly, too many women feel unsafe when travelling, working or going out at night. Women’s safety affects everyone and with Clapham having a large night economy we are always striving to ensure woman’s safety and set up The Hub as a point of safety for anyone vulnerable out and about in Clapham on a Friday or Saturday night.

However safety doesn’t just stop there and London businesses are welcome to sign up to the Women’s Night Safety Charter (WNSC) as a formal pledge to tackle violence against women and girls. You can sign up to the charter easily here.

They have also worked with the Good Night Out Campaign to produce a toolkit, which offers simple ideas, inspiration, information and resources to help organisations meet the seven pledges. It advises on possible courses of action, some changes that may need to be made and how organisations can upskill their staff.
