Clapham BID ballot


Clapham BID members have voted emphatically in favour of a second term. The yes vote means that local businesses have chosen to work together for Clapham and to invest a minimum of £1.6m in projects to improve Clapham until 2023. 

199 Ballot papers were returned with 149 voting favour for the renewal of the business improvement district for a further five term. This represents a turnout of 48% with 75% of businesses voting in favour by number and 76% by rateable value.

The This is Clapham Board would like to thank all our members our voted in the ballot and are delighted that the overwhelming majority of businesses recognise the valueable work the BID does to make Clapham a cleaner, greener and safer environment for our customers and staff members.

We are extremely pleased with the results and grateful that businesses have given us such a large mandate to continue to work together to make Clapham a thriving destination.
