Lambeth BIDS are coming to Lambeth Country Show

On the 16th&17th July from 12-8pm, South Bank BID, We Are Waterloo and This Is Clapham BIDs will be jointly operating a ‘Lambeth BIDs’ stall at Lambeth Country Show, a major annual festival in South London organised by Lambeth Council.
The local BIDs will be there to tell the public about the services that BIDs provide to improve Lambeth for residents employees and visitors, and will be on hand to answer any questions the public may have regarding the many things that BIDs do for the local area such as greening, cleaning, maintenance and public safety. They’ll also be bringing a face painter!
Cllr Jack Hopkins, Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Business and Culture, said: “With six BIDs across Lambeth town centres, we have seen what a positive impact it can have to bring businesses together and create an income for that specific area.
“Local people and businesses know what the priorities should be and a BID gives them a real opportunity to lead.
“A strong business community means a strong local economy and that simply brings more jobs and opportunities for Lambeth residents.”
